1. Used as aadditive
(1) EBS is an excellent plastic processing aid, which is suitable for almost all thermosetting and thermoplastic plastics. EBS has excellent lubrication, anti adhesion and antistatic properties, and can significantly improve the dispersion of plastics or fillers. Therefore, EBS is widely used as lubricant, release agent and smooth opening agent. Adding this product in plastic processing can improve the solubility and fluidity of resin, improve work efficiency, make up for the lack of mold finish, and make the products shiny, uniform and bright colors.
(2) EBS can be used as an anti adhesive for various polymer films or sheets. Adding 0.5-1% of this product during blow molding can not only prevent bubbles (fish eyes), but also make the plastic bag mouth smooth and easy to open.
(3) As a lubricant, EBS has excellent internal and external lubrication, and has good synergistic effect with other lubricants such as higher alcohols, fatty acid esters, calcium stearate and paraffin. In the processing of ABS, as, rigid PVC, polyoxymethylene, polycarbonate, polyamine and phenolic resin, this product can be used as lubricating release agent with an addition amount of about 0.5-1.5%.
(4) In the formula of inorganic filled PVC and polyolefin, EBS combined with main stabilizer can significantly improve the material and heat and weather resistance of polymer. Because EBS has strong affinity with pigments or additives, it can improve the dispersion and coupling in the polymer of additives and improve the commercial value of products.
(5) EBS can also be used as nucleation transparency agent: in polyolefin, polyformaldehyde, polyamide and other compounds, it can shorten its nucleation time, promote the thinning of resin structure, and then improve the mechanical properties and transparency of products.
(6) Ethylene bis-stearamide(EBS) can also be used as a rubber processing assistant, in addition to lubrication and demoulding, it can also be used as a surface brightener. In the processing of fluororubber, the properties of rubber particle lifting, kneading, processing and vulcanization can be improved.

(7) Adding EBS to the production coating can improve the uniform dispersion of pigment and filler, improve the surface leveling of drying paint, prevent paint peeling, and improve water and acid resistance. It can also play an extinction role in nitrocellulose paint.
(8) In the chemical fiber industry, EBS can improve the heat resistance and weather resistance of polyester and polyamide fibers and endow them with certain antistatic properties. As an additive in the spinning of antistatic nylon fiber, it can also reduce the fracture of yarn.

2. Rubber: synthetic resin and rubber such as GRS (SBR) add 1 ~ 2% EBS to their emulsion, which has good anti adhesion and anti caking effect.

3. Bitumen: EBS added to asphalt can improve its softening point by about 10 C, reduce cold and warm plastic flow. Moreover, under the premise of constant brittleness, it can reduce viscosity after melting, increase water resistance, acid resistance and salt spray.

4. Lubricant efficacy
EBS can be used as lubricating release agent in the processing of ABS, as, rigid PVC, polyformaldehyde, polycarbonate, polyurethane and phenolic resin.

(1) In inorganic filled PVC and polyolefin, EBS can be used together with main stabilizer to significantly improve the heat and weather resistance of polymer materials. Because EBS has strong affinity with pigment or filler, it can significantly improve the dispersion and coupling of filler in polymer.
(2) This product can be used as a rubber processing assistant. In addition to the lubrication and demoulding effect and the performance of filler surface, it can also improve the surface finish of rubber hose and rubber plate, and can be used as a rubber surface brightener. In the processing of fluororubber, the properties of rubber particle lifting, kneading, processing and vulcanization can be improved.

(3) Adding EBS in coating production can improve the uniform dispersion of pigments and fillers, improve the surface leveling of drying paint, prevent paint peeling, and improve water, acid and alkali resistance; It can also play an extinction role in nitrocellulose paint.
(4) In the chemical fiber industry, EBS can improve the heat resistance and weather resistance of polyester and polyamide fibers, give them a certain antistatic effect, and reduce yarn breakage in the spinning of antistatic nylon fibers.
(5) EBS can also be used as melting point improver of petroleum products, lubricant and preservative in metal wire drawing, composition of paper coating and potting material of electrical components.
