EBS-Ethylene bis-stearamide is a kind of excellent internal and external lubricant, and can

also be used as processing aids and dispersant of pigments.

Raw Materials: Stearic acid and ethylenediamine

Appearance: white or pale yellow, similar in shape to solid wax, hard and tough in texture.

Function: internal and external lubricant; antistatic agent; nucleating transparent agent;

dispersant; mold release agent; anti-caking agent; extinction agent; degassing agent (anti-

adhesion) ; non-silicon defoamer; improvement of dissolving grease (MI).

EBS product features

Internal Lubricant: due to the existence of polar amide groups in EBS molecules, it has the

function of processing lubrication and low temperature anti-adhesion of polymer resin. EBS

can be inserted into the interior of polymer resin to reduce the interaction between resin

molecules.

External Lubricant: EBS has limited compatibility with resin. It can be drawn from inside the

resin to the surface, which reduces the friction between resin particles and between resin

melt and processing equipment, and prevents it from adhering to the metal surface and plays

an external lubrication role.

EBS is used as Lubricating release agent in plastic processing, which can improve the quality

and appearance of plastic products.

Application of EBS

1. Plastic

In many thermoplastic and thermosetting polymer AS internal and external lubricants, the

most representative such as ABS, PS, AS, PVC, can also be used in PE, PP, PVAC, Cellulose

Acetate , Nylon , Pheonolic-Resin , amino plastics, etc. , it has good finish and demoulding

property.

2. Rubber

EBS has good anti-sticking and anti-caking effect when it is added into synthetic resin and

rubber. EBS can be used in floor mat, drainage pipe and other rubber products to increase the

surface gloss. In the process of fluororubber, the properties of rubber particle lifting,

processing and vulcanization can be improved.

3. Pigment and filler dispersant

EBS as plastic, chemical fiber color masterbatch pigment dispersant, such as ABS, PS,

Polypropylene fibre, polyester masterbatch, Polyester Masterbatch.

EBS can also be used as dispersion powder for plastic color matching.

According to the content of pigment and filler, the content is 0.5 ~ 5% .

4. Powder coating

EBS can be used as a flow aid for powder coatings.

5. Powder coating, ink

When making paint and coatings, EBS can improve the effect of salt fog and moisture

resistance; EBS can improve the performance of paint remover and the leveling of baking

enamel surface. In furniture polishing agent and printing ink can be used as a matting agent.
