Oxidized polyethylene wax has a certain compatibility with PVC, can adhere to the surface of nodules, increase the melt viscosity, and has a fine-tuning effect on gelation behavior, reducing the friction between the melt and the processing equipment is a good release agent in the processing of PVC, especially in transparent PVC (organotin stabilizer) film, adding the right amount of oxidized polyethylene wax not only plays a very good release, but also does not reduce the transparency.
At present, in addition to synthetic pe wax and oxidized polyethylene wax in PVC, paraffin wax, feto wax and by-product wax are also widely used and also need to be flexibly matched according to the terminal application, For example, low melting point paraffin wax can play the role of early lubrication, in the melting point of polyethylene wax, feto wax can play the role of mid-term lubrication, high melting point of oxidized polyethylene wax can play the role of late lubrication. Some heat-resistant limited lubricants such as paraffin wax, fatty acid esters, etc. , easy to extrusion products die, rolling film cooling roller deposition.
