1. The surface of PVC cable material is not good

what reason? How to improve?

(1) The resin that is difficult to plasticize is extruded without plasticization, resulting in small crystal points and

particles on the surface, which are distributed around the surface; the temperature should be appropriately

increased or the traction line speed and screw speed should be reduced.

(2) Impurities are mixed in when feeding, and there are impurity lumps on the surface; impurity should be strictly

prevented when feeding, and if impurities are found, the machine head should be cleaned immediately to drain the

glue in the screw.

(3) The surface of the wire-bearing diameter of the die sleeve is not smooth or notched, or there are plastic

decomposition products accumulated at the die mouth, so that the surface has traces; when selecting the mold,

carefully check whether the surface of the wire-bearing diameter is smooth, appropriately reduce the temperature

of the die mouth, and find deposits At the die mouth should be removed immediately

(4) When the cable core is too heavy, the wire tension is small, and the cooling is not good, the plastic surface is

easy to wrinkle; the former should increase the tension, and the latter should reduce the pulling wire speed to

ensure the cooling time.

2. Uneven extrusion thickness

what reason? How to improve?

(1) Due to the instability of the screw and traction, the thickness of the product is uneven, due to the problem of

the tension ring, it is easy to produce slubs, the mold is too small, or the outer diameter of the cable core changes

greatly, resulting in thickness fluctuations.

(2) Frequently check the tension device or speed of the traction, screw, and take-up and take-up line, and adjust it

in time; choose suitable molds to prevent glue pouring; often monitor changes in outer diameter.
