Ethylene Bis Stearamide /EBS (The following are referred to as EBS) is mainly produced from stearic acid and ethylenediamine, with a white or light yellow appearance, similar in shape to solid wax, and a hard and tough texture. EBS can be used as an internal and external lubricant, anti-static agent, nucleating transparent agent, dispersant, release agent, anti caking agent, extinction agent, degassing agent opening agent (anti bonding), and non silicone defoamer to improve melt index.
The advantage of EBS is that it does not affect the physical properties such as thermal stability, appearance, color, and transparency of the product.

EBS as an internal lubricant: Due to the presence of polar amide groups in EBS molecules, it has processing lubrication and low-temperature anti sticking effects on polymer resins. EBS can be inserted into the interior of polymer resins, reducing the interaction between resin molecules.
EBS as an external lubricant: EBS has limited compatibility with resin. Due to the internal traction of the resin to the surface, it reduces the mutual friction between resin particles and between resin melt and processing equipment, preventing it from adhering to metal surfaces and playing an external lubrication role. EBS is used as a lubricating release agent in plastic processing, which can improve the quality and appearance of plastic products.

EBS dispersant is mainly used as a lubricant and release agent in plastic processing to improve the quality and appearance of plastic products. In addition, EBS also has the functions of anti adhesion, smoothness, anti-static, improving pigment dispersion, and auxiliary stability.

As a lubricant in thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics, it has good internal and external lubrication, demolding ability, and smoothness during molding polishing and injection molding processes. It can accelerate melting, reduce melting viscosity, save processing energy, increase product toughness, extend mold service life, and give products a good appearance during processing such as rolling, extrusion, and central control molding.

Mainly used in polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, ABS resins, as well as phenolic and amino plastics. It can also be used as a release agent, anti adhesive, anti-static agent, and surface treatment agent in the plastic and rubber industries. In addition, it can also be used as a pigment dispersant in plastic masterbatch products, as a lubricant and anti-corrosion agent for metal wire drawing. Sealing materials for electrical components, defoamers for the papermaking industry, and paper coating components.
