Hard PVC product stabilizer from lead salt into calcium zinc and other environmental

1. The change of product color resulted from the replacement of stabilizer. After the

stabilizer is changed from lead salt to calcium zinc, it is easy to find that the color of the

product will be blue in many times, but it is difficult to change from blue to red.

2. The inner and outer colors of the product are not the same after using calcium zinc

stabilizer. Usually is the external color is more positive, the internal prone to cyanosis

yellow, this situation is easy to occur in the profile, pipe also occurs.

3. Color shift of the product during processing with calcium zinc stabilizer. In the process of

using lead salt stabilizer to process products, there will be some color deviation between

different machines, but the fluctuation range is narrow. With calcium-zinc stabilizers, the

fluctuation may be larger, and the effect of the fluctuation on the color may be more obvious

due to the small amount of material and process.

4. Color problem in storage, transportation and use of the products after using CA-ZN

environmental stabilizer. Rigid PVC products using traditional lead salt stabilizers have less

color change during storage, transportation and use. When calcium and zinc are used as

environmental protection stabilizers, they may appear yellow and green after resting. When

some stabilizers are used in products with high content of iron ion in calcium powder, the

products may become red.

The main reason for the above color problems is that the composition of calcium-zinc

stabilizer is relatively complex. The thermal stability in the early, middle and late stages is

achieved through the cooperation of many kinds of raw materials, the combination of

components creates possibilities, and market pressures have made the problem more

complex by subjecting some stabilizer manufacturers to substandard ingredients.
