1. There are ripples on the outer surface of PVC pipe

Cause of occurrence:

(1) Uneven overflow around the die of PVC pipe extruder

(2) The temperature of the cooling water is very high

(3) The water quantity of the sizing sleeve is small and uneven

(4) The drawing speed of PVC pipe extruder is unstable

The Solution:

(1) Check the electric heating ring of the die

(2) Lower the water temperature or increase the cooling water volume

(3) Increase the spray water volume, cleaning the spray head around the sizing sleeve

(4) Adjust the drawing speed of PVC pipe extruder

2. There’s a crack in the inner wall of the PVC pipe

Cause of occurrence:

(1) There are impurities in the raw materials

(2) The front of the machine or the head of the machine is too cold

(3) Core mold temperature too low

(4) The traction speed is too fast

(5) The amount of lubricant in the formula is not appropriate

The Solution:

(1) Replacement of raw materials

(2) Raise the temperature of production and processing

(3) Raise the core mold temperature

(4) Slow down the traction speed

(5) Adjust formula or raw materials

3. The inner wall or outer wall of PVC pipe is bulged (like bubbles)

Cause of occurrence:

(1) Excessive moisture in raw materials

(2) Material mixed with impurities or added to the remaining material did not get rid of clean

(3) The machine itself is too cold

(4) Too high Temperature in the conveying section of the barrel is disadvantageous to the

vacuum dehydrating

The Solution:

(1) The raw material is fully dried

(2) Remove impurities, when re-use the remaining material must be decomposed and

impurities removed clean

(3) Raise the body temperature of PVC pipe extruderb

(4) Lower the temperature of the conveying section
