Firstly, both high-density ope wax and low-density ope wax are high-performance PVC lubricants with polarity, which can be added in small amounts but have very obvious effects. They can bind to the surface of PVC particles, such as putting a lubricating coat on PVC particles, and have a very good demolding effect in the later stage of processing. The main difference between high-density ope wax and low-density ope wax lies in their ability to improve the plasticization rate of PVC and the fluidity of the melt.

Relatively speaking, high-density oxidized polyethylene wax is extremely fast in improving the plasticization speed of PVC. In the processing of hard PVC products, high-density oxidized polyethylene wax with high acid value can even be considered as a plasticizer, and has high viscosity, good dispersibility, and high melting point. It is suitable for products that require high plasticization, high filling, and high post mold release requirements, such as large-diameter PVC pipes, PVC foam boards, and shrinkage films. Low density oxidized polyethylene wax can also improve the plasticization speed, but it is not as strong as high-density oxidized polyethylene wax and is relatively mild. It is suitable for products that require high-speed extrusion, good surface gloss, and precipitation resistance, such as high-speed extruded PVC conduit, injection molded pipe fittings, and PVC profiles.

Saino high-density ope wax promotes plasticization and has good thermal stability in the later stage, giving the product good plasticization and luster. The continuous production cycle is long, and the dispersion and brightness in the color masterbatch will increase, but it will affect the oxidation induction period and can replace Honeywell 316A; Low density ope wax, in the PVC system, is pre plasticized, with reduced torque in the later stage. It has excellent internal and external lubrication effects, improves the dispersion of colorants, endows products with good luster, and better improves production efficiency.

In actual production, according to the needs of the product, sometimes it is necessary to use high-density oxidized polyethylene wax and low-density oxidized polyethylene wax together to meet difficult processing requirements, such as CPC processing, PVC heat stabilizers with high start-up time requirements, and so on.
