The application of polyethylene wax in PVC heat stabilizers. Heat stabilizers are one of the important categories of plastic processing aids. The birth and development of heat stabilizers and PVC resins are synchronous, and they are mainly used in the processing of PVC resins. Therefore, the proportion of heat stabilizers to PVC resins and soft and hard products in PVC is closely related.

Lubricants are also indispensable in the production and processing of heat stabilizers. A good lubricating system has low volatility, good demoulding and flow performance, and can improve the high-temperature stability of the stabilizer, extend the thermal stability time, reduce impurities and precipitation, and it can improve the weather resistance of the product.
Effect of heat stabilizer
(1) In the process of resin processing, prevent or inhibit its HCl removal and discoloration caused by HCl removal.
(2) Within the effective service life of the product, maintain its sufficient thermal stability, slow down the degradation caused by heat, light and extend its service life.

Action mechanism of heat stabilizer
(1) Absorb HCl generated during PVC degradation;
(2) Replace the unstable allyl chlorine atom or tertiary carbon chlorine atom in the PVC molecule to inhibit the removal of PVC and HCL;

(3) React with free radicals to terminate the transfer of free radicals;
(4) Addition reaction with conjugated double bonds to reduce coloration;

(5) Inhibit the oxidation of PVC;
(6) Passivation of metal ions with catalytic HCl removal.
