Polyethylene wax (PE wax), also known as polymer wax, is a chemical material. Its color is white small beads or flakes. It is formed by ethylene polymerized rubber processing agent. As a lubricant, it has stable chemical properties and good electrical properties. Polyethylene wax has good compatibility with polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl acetate, ethylene propylene rubber and butyl rubber. It can improve the fluidity of polyethylene, polypropylene and ABS and the demoulding property of polymethylmethacrylate and polycarbonate. Compared with other external lubricants, polyethylene wax has stronger internal lubrication for PVC.
The main functions of polyethylene wax in solvent based coating are: extinction, scratch resistance, wear resistance, polishing resistance, engraving resistance, adhesion, precipitation and thixotropy; Good lubricity and processability; Metal pigment positioning.
The action principle of polyethylene wax is as follows: polyethylene wax dissolves in solvent at high temperature (about 100-140 ℃), precipitates when it is cooled to normal temperature, and exists in the coating in the form of microcrystalline. Because its thixotropy is conducive to the storage of the coating, it can migrate to the surface of the coating film during the volatilization of the solvent after the coating application, Finally, it forms a “waxed” surface layer with other components of the coating.

Application of polyethylene wax:
1. Dense masterbatch and filling masterbatch. As a dispersant in color masterbatch processing, it is widely used in polyolefin color masterbatch. It has good compatibility with polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene and other resins, and has excellent external and internal lubrication.
2. PVC profiles, pipes and composite stabilizers are used as dispersants, lubricants and brighteners in the forming and processing of PVC profiles, pipes, pipe fittings and pe.pp to enhance the degree of plasticization and improve the toughness and surface smoothness of plastic products. They are widely used in the production of PVC composite stabilizers.

3. The ink has good light resistance and chemical properties. It can be used as the carrier of pigment, improve the wear resistance of paint and ink, improve the dispersion of pigment and filler, have good anti sedimentation effect, and can be used as the leveling agent of paint and ink to make the products have good luster and three-dimensional feeling.
4. The cable material is used as the lubricant of cable insulation material, which can enhance the diffusion of filler, improve the extrusion rate, increase the mold flow and facilitate demoulding.
5. Hot melt products. It is used as dispersant for all kinds of hot melt adhesive, thermosetting powder coating, road marking paint and marking paint. It has good anti sedimentation effect and makes the products have good luster and three-dimensional feeling.
6. Rubber. As a rubber processing assistant, it can enhance the diffusion of fillers, improve the extrusion rate, increase the mold flow, facilitate demoulding, and improve the surface brightness and smoothness after film removal.

Main scope of application: it can be widely used in manufacturing color masterbatch, granulation, plastic steel, PVC pipe, hot melt adhesive, rubber, shoe polish, leather brightener, cable insulation, floor wax, plastic profile, ink, injection molding and other products.

3. It has good light resistance and chemical properties. It can be used as the carrier of pigment, improve the wear resistance of paint and ink, improve the dispersion of pigment and filler, prevent pigment from sinking to the bottom, and can be used as the leveling agent of paint and ink.
4. It can be added into various paraffin to improve its performance and excellent electrical insulator performance. It can be added into insulating oil, paraffin or microcrystalline paraffin to increase its softening temperature, viscosity and insulation performance. It can be used for cable insulation, moisture-proof coating of capacitor and transformer winding.
